Our EPOS System
Here at Tallantyre Interiors we use an EPOS system called Connect, which integrates our shop and website all in one multichannel retail system. Connect has a central stock control system that allows retailers to easily manage their stock for all channels from one place.
Intelligent Retail are the award winning company behind the Connect software and ecommerce websites, having won Retail Solutions Multichannel Integration Award and the Innovation Award from Business Magazine. Intelligent Retail designed and built the multichannel retail solution with independent retailers in mind, as it helps give retailers control over the in store sales, mail and telephone orders, website orders and other selling channels such as Amazon and eBay from a central stock tree that updates automatically as sales come through. Saving valuable time that would otherwise be spent checking numerous separate systems and manually updating stock.
As the orders are downloaded to the system, Connect has easy to use features to update and track the status of each order by clicking on the buttons for 'pick', 'pack' and 'despatch'. Invoices and other paperwork such as picking notes can be printed from Connect itself keeping the process centralised.
Connect has a customer database so that you can keep up to date with your customers accounts and preferences. This proves very useful when marketing to existing customers as you can filter your customer list and then send them more relevant and targeted newsletters and promotions.
The till side of the software has been developed with simplicity in mind. Scan or look up the items in the stock tree that also holds images and full descriptions of the products making it quicker and easier for staff members to aid customers in their purchase.
